COVID-19 Regulations Currently In Place at Kinosoo Ridge (as of December 16, 2021)

  • Proof of vaccination will not be required, as Kinosoo Ridge Resort will be following the 1/3 capacity rules.
  • All lift tickets and Tube Park passes can be purchased online and at the chalet. Please note we will have a limited amount of guests able to come in at the same time so you may be required to wait outside. For this reason, we encourage you to purchase your ticket online. Tubing passes will be based on time slots, so to avoid missing your ideal time, we encourage you to book online in advance. If you have purchased your pass in advance, tickets will be printed at the ticket booth outside of the chalet. If you are a season pass holder, you do not need to book your spot for a lift ticket. However, if you, as a Season Pass holder are planning to visit the Tube Park, you must purchase your pass either online (encouraged) or inside the Chalet. If you select a date and time for tubing, and nothing shows up, that means the allotted tickets for that day have been sold. Please choose another date to come visit us.
  • All rentals will require a waiver to be signed in person. If you are under 18, the waiver must be signed in person by a parent or guardian.
  • Timings for the tube park have been broken into two-hour time slots. Starting January 7, the schedule is as follows:
    • Wednesday to Thursday — 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 to 2:45 p.m, 3 to 5 p.m.
    • Friday & Saturday — 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:45 to 2:45 p.m., 3 to 5 p.m. and 5:15 to 7:15 p.m.
    • Sundays — 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:45 to 2:45 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Starting January 3, Kinosoo Ridge will be closed every Monday and Tuesday.
  • Starting January 7, Friday & Saturday Night Ski returns from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Face coverings are mandatory in the chalet.
  • Maintain a physical distance of six feet from anyone not in your family/cohort.
  • If you are not feeling well, please wait to visit Kinosoo Ridge until you are feeling better.
  • There is no storage space/access to cubbies this year. Your vehicle will be your base of operations. There will not be a place for you to store boots/equipment/bags.
  • Food from the cafeteria will be takeout only at this time.
  • There are outdoor porta-potties available.
  • There is an outdoor shack serving churros, coffee, and hot chocolate available on weekends.
  • Wash your hands and use sanitizer frequently. Sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the facility.
  • Please follow all signage.
  • For the safety of guests and our staff, please DO NOT VISIT if any of the following apply:
    • If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
    • Live in a household with someone with COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19 or who is self isolating due to possible exposure to COVID-19.
    • If you have travelled outside of Canada in the past two weeks or been in contact with anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the past two weeks.
    • Please continue to follow all mandates and Public Health Orders from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health and the provincial government.

We will all need a little patience this year. We thank you in advance for yours as we adapt to a new way of running the hill.

It’s important to note these regulations can, and will, change. We will update our website and Facebook page with any changes made.

We’re asking our visitors to become our partners in safety. The health and safety of our staff and our guests is our utmost priority. Let’s work together to make sure everyone has a happy, fun, and safe ski season.
