UPDATED January 2, 2020 - COVID-19 Regulations Currently In Place at Kinosoo Ridge

COVID-19 Regulations Currently In Place at Kinosoo Ridge (as of January 2, 2020)

  • All lift tickets and Tube Park passes must be purchased online, in advance. Tickets will NOT be sold at the chalet. If you are a season pass holder, you do not need to book your spot for a lift ticket. However, if you, as a Season Pass holder are planning to visit the Tube Park, you must purchase your pass online, in advance here.
  •  If you select a date, and nothing shows up, that means the allotted tickets for that day have been sold. Please choose another date to come visit us.
  • All rentals must be secured online eight hours before your visit. This will allow for our rental shop staff to have things set up and ready to go for our visitors.
  • Timings for the tube park have been broken into two-hour time slots. Starting January 13, the schedule is as follows:
    • Wednesday to Friday - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 to 2:45 p.m.
    • Saturdays - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:45 to 2:45 p.m., 3 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
    • Sundays - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:45 to 2:45 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Starting January 11, Kinosoo Ridge will be closed every Monday and Tuesday.
  • Starting January 16, Saturday Night Ski returns from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Face coverings are mandatory in the chalet and throughout the ski area.
  • Maintain a physical distance of six feet from anyone not in your family/cohort.
  • If you are not feeling well, please wait to visit Kinosoo Ridge until you are feeling better.
  • There is no storage space/access to cubbies this year. Your vehicle will be your base of operations. There will not be a place for you to store boots/equipment/bags.
  • Food from the cafeteria will be takeout only at this time.
  • There are outdoor porta-potties available.
  • There is an outdoor shack serving churros, coffee and hot chocolate. Starting January 9, this will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only.
  • Wash your hands and use sanitizer frequently. Sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the facility.
  • Please follow all signage.
  • For the safety of guests and our staff, please DO NOT VISIT if any of the following apply:
    • If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
    • Live in a household with someone with COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19 or who is self isolating due to possible exposure to COVID-19.
    • If you have travelled outside of Canada in the past two weeks or been in contact with anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the past two weeks.

Please continue to follow all mandates and Public Health Orders from Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health and the provincial government.

We will all need a little patience this year. We thank you in advance for yours as we adapt to a new way of running the hill.

It’s important to note these regulations can, and will, change. We will update our website and Facebook page with any changes made.

We’re asking our visitors to become our partners in safety. The health and safety of our staff and our guests is our utmost priority. Let’s work together to make sure everyone has a happy, fun, and safe ski season.
