The Victoria, BC based four-piece has quickly established itself as a major force in the Western Canadian music scene; the result of an overwhelmingly successful year of sold out shows, multiple festivals lots and the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut EP.

Blending elements of hard-hitting modern rock with the vintage aesthetic of southern blues à la Kings of Leon and the Black Keys, Band of Rascals has created an evocative sound, captivating audiences of all ages. This distinct sound is matched only by their electrifying live performance. “I was absolutely blown away the first time I saw them,”said Dylan Willows (Festival promoter and radio personality).

As word of their energetic live performance spread, the band soon found themselves performing in increasingly larger venues to accommodate the exponential growth of their audience. The band’s captivating live show soon gained the attention of multiple radio stations, including modern rock station The Zone @ 91.3 who named them their firstf eature band of 2015.

Even after the tremendous success of their debut year, the band feel as though they’re just getting started. “The response we’ve had so far has been insane,” reflects lead guitarist Malcom Owen-Flood. “It’s shown us that this is just the beginning.” This holds true as the band continues to break new ground, performing in front of constantly growing audiences and new markets, writing new music, and pushing the boundaries of what defines modern rock. With their musicc urrently seeing sales across three continents and counting, the band strives to keep pushing forward and continuing their impressive upward trajectory.

Shred Kelly will take to the Bumper to Bumper Snow Stage next.

Since their inception, the Fernie, BC based "Stoke-Folk" band have been re-defining what “folk music” means in Canada.

Through their individual pan-Canadian backgrounds, Tim Newton, Sage McBride, Jordan Vlasschaert, IanPage-Shiner, and Ty West have amplified the traditional sound of folk music with a more contemporary approach. They have humbly pioneered Canada’s modern folk sound – pushing the boundaries of the genre, and creating“Stoke-Folk” – a genre that truly encapsulates the peaks and valleys that define Canada.

Shred Kelly has garnered themselves sold-out shows with 200-300 people across Canada. They’ve performed at some of the Nation’s premier festivals, and received a growing list of awards and recognition. Their initial success is largely due to the fun, accessible, and genuine love they have for performing live.Shred Kelly released their third album – “Sing To The Night” - on January 27th 2015. The new material shows the growth and depth that the band has explored throughout the creative process, and once again demonstrates their signature claw-hammer banjo riffs, layered ambient synth, powerhouse rock, and sweet vocal harmonies. Their acclaimed producer John Critchley (Elliott Brood, Dan Mangan, Amelia Curran, The Once) from Green Door Studios was a master at creating an album that pushed their creativity and gave Shred Kelly a new take on their signature sound. Their music is a perfect blend of “stoke” and “folk”. That translates perfectly onto an album, or a packed dance floor.- Top 15 “Most Anticipated Albums of 2015” by CBC Music- “Sing To The Night is a huge step forward for this young band” by Exclaim! Magazine- Top 12 in the 2014 Peak Performance Project BC- Ranked 3rd in the Top 10 “Must See Acts” at the 2013 Ottawa Folk Festival by Ottawa Rock Lottery

Closing out Snöjuhla on the Bumper to Bumper Snow Stage will be Raygun Cowboys.

Raygun Cowboys

Raygun Cowboys are a psychobilly punk rock n' roll band hailing from the very best dive bars and poolrooms of Edmonton, AB. This 50's influenced 5-piece outfit plays insanely high-energy badass rockabilly with elements of punk and rock n roll that instantly gets people on the dance floor from the first to last song.

Formed in 2000, the cowboys started playing local shows and quickly became the band of choice to support touring acts in western Canada. In 2005 the Cowboys released their first recordings on the Zombie Night in Canada 2 compilation and released their debut Underworld Boogie in 2006. The band hit the road shortly after and toured coast to coast several times bringing their suped-up psycho juke joint jive to a legion of fans across the country. In 2007 they added a killer horn section to their traditional 3 piece rockabilly line up. Two full-length albums followed along with constant touring in every corner of the country including appearances at some of the best festivals in the coutry like Pouzza Fest, North Country Fair, Folk on the Rocks, Beaumont Blues Fest, Hotrod Hootenanny and the Salmon Arm Blues and Roots festival. In 2010-11 the Rayguns toured Europe in and backed up rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson at the Edmonton folk festival and began recording their third full length album Heads Are Gonna Roll that fall. Chocked full of terrifying tales of ghoulish debauchery, Heads Are Gonna Roll clocked in at 11 breakneck tracks and brought the band a TON a critical acclaim bringing them to the forefront of their genre.

And now the boys are back in town with The Cowboy Code! Eleven brassy belters set to get your saddle blazing and your spurs a-spinning. These hard rocking songs harken back to the days of smoky gin-joints and speakeasies while cutting a modern edge to the classic rockabilly style. Featuring a heartfelt cover of their good friends SNFU's "Painful Reminder" and badass tribute to everyone's favorite futuristic cyborg "Robocop" this album is an absolute necessity for rockers everywhere.
