Kinosoo Ridge Cook

Cooks prepare and cook a wide variety of food. Cooks may be responsible for basic food prep like salads and sandwiches to more complex tasks like roasting and baking etc.
This position may have exposure to several responsibilities in the kitchen or may be assigned only to specific tasks in the cooking or prep chain.

Responsibilities:


Basic food prep
Prepare and cook individual menu items or entire meals
May have to monitor or guide kitchen staff
May assist in menu development
May assist in cost control, monitoring and ordering supplies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Related courses preferred
Basic food prep
Re-thermalization of prepared food
Developing knowledge of baking and pastry production
Developing knowledge of all cooking methods such as roasting, stewing etc.
